Glassworks Ltd. have recently produced a fully CGI heart for Inventive Medical Ltd.
The heart model has been based on work by cardiac anaesthetists at University College Hospital, London and is to be used to help teach echocardiography.
"At the core of the HeartWorks product is a freely interactive computer generated model of the human heart which has an unprecedented degree of anatomical detail. It has a photorealistic appearance and has been carefully animated to simulate normal human cardiac motion."

A bit of an update
Hi there,
Sorry for the lack of recent updates, I have been very busy with various things.
Anyone who has visited my website recently will notice that I have added a blog bar to the bottom of some of the pages this is to make it a bit easier for people to move between my main website, this one and also my Twitter page for on the fly updates.
I have been working on a few interesting projects recently that I will hopefully be able to share with you soon, so keep your eyes peeled for new updates coming up shortly.
Since my last post the winners of the Casa em Alenquer competition have been announced. Big congratulations to the winners, click here to see the results and the winning images. Although I did not finish in the top three I did manage to get quite far in the final round of judging and have been given a Works of Merit Award by 3DAllusions for my troubles. Many thanks again to 3DAllusions for putting on this challenge.
