CG Source Website Launched

Any fellow cg artist will be happy to know that a new website called CG-Source.com has been launched and looks very good. I am sure I will be visiting it regularly.

CG-Source.com is a site dedicated to deliver the highest quality textures possible. The quality and resolution is unmatched by any other site. The current average resolution is 101 megapixels per texture. Futher more free tools like the FloorGenerator and MultiTexture Map is given away for free to help improve your renderings. Casa em Alenquer (House in Alenquer)

I am currently working on a couple of images to submit for a charrette/challenge being hosted by 3DAllusions.com.
The subject of the charrette is the amazing Casa em Alenquer (House in Alenquer) by architects Aires Mateus.
I will be uploading some work in progress shots to show how the images evolve over the course of the challenge and I will then of course upload the final images as well.

I have just added the above interior images to my website. They were produced for an interior design agency so that they could show their clients what their proposed designs would look like.
I have yet to add the full images to the site but will do so shortly.

CGS Feature - The curious case of Benjamin Button

CGSociety has a feature on "The curious case of Benjamin Button" a new film from director David Fincher with some ground breaking CG work by Digital Domain.
The film starring Brad Pitt features completely CG heads being tracked on to different bodies for Pitt's character with stunning realism. It is said to be the first film that is truly crossing the Uncanny Valley something that computer graphics artists have been trying to achieve for years.

Evgeni Tomov - Artist Profile at CGSociety

My name is Paul Twyman and I am a Freelance 3d Artist and Animator from Bournemouth, UK.

The purpose of this blog is to share with you some of the projects that I have been working on and to document other things that are going on within the computer graphics industry.
